Videojuegos con Flixel

Lee Brimelow realizó un par de tutoriales sobre Flixel y decidí probarlo. Al hacer juegos he utilizado varias librerías y herramientas pero nunca un framework para realizar un juego completo, pero después de probar Flixel me di cuenta que hay demasiados beneficios como para dejarlo pasar. Definitivamente su atributo más fuerte es el hecho de poder tener montones de elementos en pantalla y las animaciones no se detienen, los fps (frames por segundo) se mantienen con el mismo desempeño.

Making a game in Flixel

Lee Brimelow made a pair of tutorials about Flixel and I decided to give it a shot. I've been using many tools to make games but never a framework to make an entire one, but after trying Flixel I think there are many benefits too just let it pass you by. The stronger feature in flixel is definitely the frame rate, you can have tons of graphics on screen and the frame rate just doesn't drop, is amazing.

Molehill on mobile devices

Now that the flash on mobile panorama was getting better with the upcoming improvement on iOS devices, adobe drops this bomb about the support on mobile devices of molehill.

Gestouch: as3 gesture detection

We are getting closer to the release of Adobe Air 2.7, and what it means mostly is smooth apps and games on iOS devices, and something that is going to be mandatory is gesture detection.
